Svetlana had been interested in becoming a medic since she was a young girl. When her older brother joined BLU, she tagged along; staying out of trouble of course. A few of the seasoned medics admired the child’s will to learn medicine, and taught her everything she needed to know in order to be a field medic. One day, her brother got into an accident; when a RED Soldier shot a rocket at him and missed, but the explosion affected him still. She did what the medics had taught her, to heal him. He had slight amnesia, and a scar, but Svet was just glad that he was alright overall, and proud of herself that she actually managed to heal him. After that, she decided that she wanted to join BLU officially as a Medic.
